A meeting between the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine, Aca Jovanovic, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Vasyl Bodnar, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine on August 25, 2021.

Ambassador Jovanovic also handed over a copy of the personal invitation letter of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nikola Selakovic to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, on the occasion of marking the 60th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-aligned Movement in Belgrade, October 11-12, 2021.

On that occasion, Ambassador Jovanovic handed over to the Ukrainian side the proposal of the Serbian side that the upcoming political consultations of the two ministries at the level of State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nemanja Starovic and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar, be held in Kyiv on September 10, 2021.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Vasil Bodnar, thanked for the invitation and stated that the letter would be handed to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmitro Kuleba.

Beside the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar and the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine Aca Jovanovic, the meeting was attended by the Director of the Second Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Zvaric and the Officer for Serbia Vitalii Bilan.
