The wife of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Mrs. Tamara Vucic, visited Kiev on the occasion of her participation in the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which was held on August 23, 2021. The Summit was hosted by the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, and except the First Lady of the Republic of Serbia, the First Ladies of Latvia, Brazil, Lithuania and Lebanon, as well as numerous experts, participated in the Summit.
The main topic of the Summit was strengthening cooperation to find answers to key challenges today, and on that occasion the First Lady of the Republic of Serbia presented the results of her long-term work on establishing the Center for Early Childhood Development and Inclusion.
The Summit ended with the adoption of the Declaration of the Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen with the aim of promoting cooperation between First Ladies and Gentlemen in overcoming the consequences caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the Joint Statement.
During her stay in Kiev, the First Lady of the Republic of Serbia, Ms. Tamara Vucic, also visited the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Ukraine and talked to the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine, Mr. Aca Jovanovic, about topics within the domain of work of the Embassy.
