The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Ukraine, Aca Jovanovic, met in Kiev on January 6, 2022 with the new Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Serbia, Volodymyr Tolkach. During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in the mutual relations between the two countries and expressed mutual readiness for the development of dialogue and cooperation.

Ambassador Jovanovic emphasized that friendly relations between the two countries are of exceptional importance and expressed hope that it will be the same in the future. Ambassador Tolkach thanked Ambassador Jovanovic and agreed that relations between the two countries are on the rise, as well as that they share the same vision of their future development. The interlocutors agreed to continue to meet and discuss topics of importance for the Republic of Serbia and Ukraine.
