Prime Minister Ana Brnabic received today on a farewell visit Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbia Oleksander Aleksandrovich and thanked him for his dedicated work and personal contribution to strengthening ties between the two countries during his term.
Brnabic emphasised that Serbia will continue to invest in deepening cooperation and strengthening bilateral relations between our countries, and pointed out the interest of the Serbian side in the development and additional deepening of trade and economic cooperation.
The outgoing Ambassador of Ukraine congratulated Serbia on preserving the economy and ensuring economic growth during the difficult pandemic situation, but also on the good organisation of measures aimed at protection against coronavirus and social protection of its citizens.
Bearing in mind that both countries are on the path of European integration, he pointed out that more intensive cooperation and exchange of experiences in this area would be of great importance for both Serbia and Ukraine.
The Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador of Ukraine for his personal commitment to deepening bilateral relations and wished him much success in his personal life and future professional engagement.
